Katherine and Nic’s wedding (our first of the season!) took place at the end of last month on a beautifully warm and sunny spring day in central London. Katherine is originally from America, whilst Nic’s parents originate from Belgium and Cyprus, so this was a real international affair with guests flying in from around the world in the week leading up to the big day (fortunately the volcanic ash cloud moved just in time!). It also meant there were lots of personal touches reflecting their backgrounds, including Belgian chocolates for favours, a scrummy dessert bar and some highly entertaining Greek dancing later in the evening! I’ll post a full report on the day shortly, but for now here are a few pictures to whet your appetite…

Katherine chose a gorgeous soft pink bouquet of seasonal flowers, whilst the reception arrangements included peonies and roses in vibrant shades of magenta and purple to co-ordinate with the colour scheme…

The reception venue was within walking distance of the Church, so Katherine and Nic stopped by the bar they visited on their first date and shared a beer!

These cupcakes formed part of the amazing dessert bar that guests were treated to after dinner, which also included shot glasses of chocolate mousse, individual cheesecakes and bakewell tarts…

Be sure to keep an eye out for the full wedding report coming up in the next few weeks, where we’ll be highlighting all of the suppliers who worked so hard to make the day a success.
