Whilst browsing Polka Dot Bride the other week I stumbled across Etsy seller Timeless Vixen Vintage, and I have fallen totally in love with their collection of vintage dresses. The gowns date from the 1870s through to the 1970s, meaning there are plenty of different styles and colours to choose from.
What I particularly like about these dresses is that not only are they beautiful, but they allow a bride to express her own sense of style and fashion and I think they would be perfect for anyone looking for something a bit different for their wedding. I had a really difficult job, but I’ve picked out a few of my favourites to share with you here.

I am completely in love with the Spring 2010 collection from Vera Wang. Her dresses are always beautiful, but this new range really did take my breath away. Delicate layers of tulle and organza provide a modern twist on the classic A-line style, whilst sashes and bows add to the chic and stylish look.

Your wedding shoes are important accessories for your wedding attire, particularly if you are opting for a shorter dress and they will be on show for the whole day. One dilemma that many brides have is whether to ask their bridesmaids to all wear the same dress, or allow them to choose their own outfit. By choosing a single style for your maids you guarantee the continuity of your theme and colour scheme, but you may struggle to match a single colour with different skin tones and hair colours, and could end up with your girls being uncomfortable at what you have chosen.
