February: Valentine Romance

This month we’re all loved up for Valentine’s Day, so what better time for a super-romantic design concept?! This board is all about love and romance, as reflected by the deep red colour scheme, classic floral blooms, decorative hearts and soft candlelight.

The Design

The rich red colour scheme of this design board not only reflects the romantic theme (after all, red is the colour of love!), but is also a warming contrast to the wintry February weather.

I envisage this to be a traditional style wedding held amidst the splendour of a country manor, with soft candlelight and an abundance of red roses creating the perfect romantic atmosphere. The bride would look stunning in a classic, dreamy dress with layers of tulle and delicate floral embellishments. For table decorations I’d incorporate subtle hints of gold through the use of elegant heart-shaped accessories, and provide guests with favours made of the true food of love – chocolate!
