January: Winter Frost

Our January board is based upon the beauty and elegance of frosty winter weather. We’ve gone for a clean, crisp colour palette, with lots of white accentuated by subtle hints of arctic blue to reflect the cold and icy conditions.

The Design

I see this as being quite a chic affair, with contemporary and stylish decorations and accessories. Scatterings of crystals and twinkling fairy lights would really accentuate the frosty theme, whilst placing candles and tea lights in every available space would introduce a delicate warmth.

For flowers I’d keep everything white and use tall, cascading centrepieces and scatterings of rose petals to help create a “snowy” effect. I’d also love to see the wintry theme carried through to the bridal attire, with a floaty, ‘snowball’-skirted dress, crystal embellishments and a sparkling diamante hairpiece adding the ultimate touch of glamour.
