Mood Board Monday #8 – Ice Cream Sundae

I first had the inspiration for this design concept a couple of weeks ago during the heat wave when trying to keep cool with ice lollies and ice cream! It’s a very relaxed board that would be ideal for couples looking for something quirky and informal, and is all about having fun in the sun.
To reflect the ice cream theme I’ve opted for a neopolitan palette of pastel pinks, greens, yellows and ivory. I imagine the reception to be a relaxed picnic-style affair, decorated with puffy floral arrangements, pom poms and paper lanterns. Throughout the afternoon guests would be treated to all sorts of summery treats, including ice-cold lemonade, creamy cupcakes and classic flavoured ice cream served from an old-fashioned tricycle. Mmm, my mouth’s watering already!
