Flowers are the one aspect of a wedding that I find a lot of my brides are most concerned about, and I have to admit that when I got married almost 5 years ago it was the only thing I really stressed over. For me this was because I couldn’t visualise what my flowers would look like on the day, and because I had to completely trust that my florist had understood my brief and could bring my ideas to life – I knew the overall look I wanted, I just wasn’t sure I’d conveyed it very well and as a result I was nervous about how my arrangements would turn out (in the end they were exactly what I’d asked for, and my Candy Bianca roses fitted perfectly with my colour scheme and wedding style!)

Lots of brides are worried about whether their flowers will look right on the day, so I recently asked one of my favourite florists, Liz Inigo Jones of Blue Sky Flowers, to offer her expert advice on what to think about when it comes to choosing your wedding flowers.
